Key Responsibilities
- Perform standardised diabetic complication and risk assessments for clients, following established clinical protocols.
- Provide diabetes and health related education to clients, helping them understand their condition and management options.
- Perform blood sample collection and electrocardiograms for patients, ensuring accuracy and patient comfort.
- Assist medical staff with nursing and examination tasks, preparing equipment and supporting clinical procedures.
- Offer clinical and secretarial support to doctors, including maintaining and following up on medical reports and correspondence.
- Assist in case management of clients, tracking their progress and coordinating care plans.
- Participate in on the job professional training to stay current with diabetes care best practices.
What You Need to Qualify
You must be an enrolled nurse in Hong Kong with a valid practicing license. A minimum of three years of post qualification nursing experience is required. Solid experience in diabetes care, health education, and related activities is an advantage. You need a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Basic knowledge of computer based clerical tasks is required. Personal attributes include responsibility, independence, maturity, detail orientation, organisation, and being a good team player. You must be eligible to work in Hong Kong.
Salary and Benefits
The monthly salary for this Enrolled Nurse position ranges from 28,000 to 35,000 Hong Kong dollars based on experience and qualifications, which aligns with current market rates for enrolled nurses with three or more years of experience in Hong Kong.
