Your Daily Tasks
You will do the following as Service Crew:
- Keep the entire restaurant clean, tidy, and hygienic throughout every shift
- Check and confirm daily reservations before guests arrive
- Welcome guests warmly and answer their questions politely
- Make guests feel comfortable and at home from the moment they enter
- Explain the food and wine menu in a clear and helpful way
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS machine
- Serve orders promptly and present bills correctly
- Clear used plates and glasses after guests finish
- Sanitise tables and reset them with clean cutlery and napkins
- Wipe dry cutleries and wash and dry glasswares by hand or machine
- Assist with private event setup and service as needed
- Work as a team during busy periods to ensure smooth service
- Follow all food safety and hygiene rules without exception
What You Need
You must have a minimum of one year of similar job experience in gastro pubs or western restaurants. A passion for ensuring a good dining experience for all guests is essential. Delivering quality service should come naturally to you. You need to be well groomed and have a warm personality with good customer service skills. Ability to work on weekends is required. You must speak fluent English. Being organised is very important. You need to know how to use a POS machine. A good attitude and willingness to learn are non negotiable.
