Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload semiconductor materials onto automated assembly lines following standard operating procedures
- Monitor machine displays and respond to error messages by resetting equipment or calling for technical assistance
- Visually inspect finished electronic components for surface defects using magnifying tools and bright lighting
- Pack approved products into antistatic trays or reels and label each container with batch numbers and quantities
- Record daily production output and machine downtime on simple log sheets for supervisor review
- Clean work surfaces and remove waste materials at the end of each shift to maintain a contamination free zone
- Follow all cleanroom gowning procedures including wearing finger cots, face masks, and antistatic wrist straps
Qualifications
A high school diploma or senior high school graduate certificate is required. No previous semiconductor or electronics experience is necessary, but candidates with at least three months of factory or assembly work will be given priority. You must be between 20 and 38 years old and physically able to stand for eight hours per shift and lift items up to 15 kilograms. Basic English reading skills are needed to understand safety signs and work instructions. A valid passport with at least two years of remaining validity is mandatory. Male applicants must present a certificate of military service completion or legal exemption.
Benefits and Perks
The monthly base salary is NT$28,000 with overtime paid at 1.33 times the regular hourly rate for the first two extra hours each day. With regular overtime, typical total monthly earnings range from NT$35,000 to NT$44,000. Free shared dormitory accommodation is provided within a 15 minute commute from the factory. You will receive a meal allowance of NT$2,500 per month. Health insurance and labor insurance are fully covered by the employer in accordance with Taiwan’s labor standards. After completing one year of continuous employment, you are entitled to seven days of paid annual leave and a completion bonus equivalent to half a month’s salary. The agency also provides pre departure orientation and airport pickup upon arrival in Taiwan.
