Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspections of semiconductor chips under magnification to identify cracks, scratches, or contamination
- Load lead frames and substrates into molding and trimming machines according to production schedules
- Remove completed units from machine output trays and sort them based on test results shown on monitor screens
- Place approved products into antistatic shipping tubes or trays and affix barcode labels with batch information
- Clean machine surfaces and surrounding floor areas using approved solvents and wipes at designated intervals
- Notify the line leader immediately when a machine displays a red warning light or produces defective parts
- Assist in end of shift inventory counts by scanning barcodes and recording numbers on a tally sheet
Qualifications
A high school diploma or alternative learning system certificate is required. No prior semiconductor experience is needed, but applicants with any factory, assembly, or electronics soldering background will be prioritized. You must be between 20 and 38 years old and physically capable of standing for the entire shift and lifting up to 15 kilograms. Basic English comprehension is necessary to read safety labels and follow visual work instructions. A valid passport with at least two years of remaining validity is mandatory. Male candidates must provide proof of military service completion or exemption.
Benefits and Perks
The monthly salary starts at NT$28,000 plus overtime at 1.33 times the regular rate. With typical overtime, monthly earnings range from NT$35,000 to NT$42,000.
