Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor sawmill machinery including the headrig, resaw, edger, debarker, and chipper, following all safety procedures
- Sort, stack, grade, and wrap timber according to quality standards, ensuring only acceptable product moves to the next stage
- Work across multiple areas of the sawmill including the green sorting table, pull back station, docking station, and strip stacker
- Assist with saw and chipper knife changes, supporting maintenance tasks as needed to keep production moving
- Perform routine general clean up of the mill and surrounding areas, maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
- Help out across other departments on site when required, demonstrating flexibility and a team first attitude
- Follow all health and safety protocols, wearing required personal protective equipment at all times
Qualifications
You do not need prior sawmill experience because full training will be provided. However, you must be physically fit and comfortable in an industrial environment. A good team player attitude with strong situational awareness is essential. You should be reliable, take pride in doing the job properly, and have the ability to work safely, accurately, and efficiently. A willingness to learn and be trained on machinery is required. A full driver’s license and reliable transport is preferred but not mandatory for the application. Filipino citizens aged twenty to forty five years old with a valid passport are encouraged to apply. Benefits and Perks
