Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain concrete pumping equipment, including boom pumps, line pumps, and placing booms, to transfer concrete from mixer trucks to the designated pour areas
- Connect and secure delivery hoses and pipelines, ensuring there are no leaks or blockages that could disrupt the flow of concrete
- Communicate clearly with concrete mixer drivers, site supervisors, and the pouring crew to coordinate the speed and volume of concrete delivery
- Monitor the concrete slump and consistency during pumping, making real‑time adjustments to water or admixtures as instructed by the site engineer
