Key Responsibilities

  1. Load, unload and transport construction materials such as concrete, asphalt, bricks, and lumber to and from work areas.
  2. Read blueprints to determine work requirements and follow specifications for formwork, grading, and masonry.
  3. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as needed for each project.
  4. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt using shovels, rakes, and hand tampers.
  5. Level earth to fine grade specifications, performing rough grading and fine grading and finishing tasks.
  6. Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse, removing rubble and other debris from construction sites.

What You Need to Qualify
