Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate work activities within the team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Schedule work shifts of Farm Technicians, balancing workload and coverage for the night shift operation.
- Procure materials, tools, and other equipment needed for farm operations, maintaining adequate inventory levels.
- Perform stocktaking and management of assets and consumables, tracking usage and ordering replacements as needed.
- Conduct training for Farm Technicians in accordance with standard operating procedures to maintain consistency and quality.
- Oversee performance targets for Farm Technicians, providing feedback and support to help them succeed.
- Inspect site facilities, irrigation systems, and other equipment to ensure they meet client requirements and operational standards.
- Report progress and results with internal stakeholders, communicating actively on operational challenges met during work activities.
- Assist in conducting planting and maintenance activities when required, staying hands on with the team.
What You Need to Qualify
A minimum diploma in any related field such as agriculture, horticulture, engineering, or business management is required. Two or more years of experience leading small diverse teams is essential. Salary and Benefits
