A specialist company in transformer oil treatment and vacuum filling is looking for a reliable factory operator to join their team in Eltham on a permanent full time basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of on site factory work and off site travel to substations across the North Island, and occasionally the South Island. You will operate oil regeneration plants, pump oil, manage storage tanks, maintain vehicles and equipment, and perform ad hoc workshop tasks. You will also fill electrical transformers, conduct online oil treatment, install oil fittings and hoses, and package oil for delivery. If you hold a New Zealand Class 2 driver licence, have basic mechanical knowledge, are willing to work away from home for periods of time, and have a good attitude and willingness to learn, this position offers full training, a steady Monday to Friday schedule, and the chance to work in a specialised industry. The primary keyword oil plant operator appears naturally here because that is exactly who we need.
