Key Responsibilities
- Clean kitchens by wiping countertops, scrubbing sinks, cleaning appliance exteriors, and degreasing stovetops and splashbacks
- Clean bathrooms including showers, bathtubs, toilets, vanities, and mirrors, using appropriate disinfectants to remove soap scum and grime
- Clean floors by vacuuming carpets and rugs, then mopping hard surfaces such as tiles, timber, or vinyl
- Clean living areas by dusting furniture, shelves, and decorative items, and wiping down tables and other surfaces
- Make and change beds with fresh linens, ensuring corners are tight and pillows are properly fluffed and placed
- Perform laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and household linens as requested by the client
- Complete general tidying and light household organising, such as straightening cushions, putting away items, and arranging spaces neatly
Qualifications
Experience in housekeeping or residential cleaning is required. You must live in Stafford Heights or be willing to travel locally to nearby suburbs such as Everton Park, Chermside West, Kedron, Stafford, and McDowall. Availability any day from Monday to Friday between 8 AM and 6 PM is essential. Conversational English is needed to communicate with clients and the management team.
