Key Responsibilities
- Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed, following all rules of the road and traffic laws.
- Deliver customers, employees, or vendors to appropriate destinations in a safe and courteous manner.
- Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicles or pick up multiple vehicles efficiently.
- Organise travel route and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely, including mileage and condition reports.
- Communicate via two way radio or cellular phone with dispatch and team members as needed.
- Clean vehicles when requested, including interior vacuuming and exterior washing.
- Perform miscellaneous job related duties as assigned by management, supporting overall branch operations.
What You Need to Qualify
Must be at least 18 years of age. You must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license that is not in provisional or probationary status. Authorisation to work in the United States is required without need for work authorisation sponsorship now or in the future. You must live in Atlantic or Cape May County, New Jersey. Willingness to accept a seasonal position starting in May 2026 is mandatory. Seasonal employees may work for up to 6 months during a defined season and must experience a 13 week break in service at the end of the season prior to working again as a seasonal or regular employee. A clean driving record is preferred. Previous driving or delivery experience is helpful but not required. Physical ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently and lift up to 25 pounds is necessary.
Pay Rate and Benefits
The hourly pay starts at 16 US dollars per hour. This is a full time seasonal position. The schedule is Sunday 8am to 12.30pm, Monday 7.30am to 5pm, Tuesday off, Wednesday off, Thursday 7.30am to 5pm, Friday 7.30am to 5pm, and Saturday 8am to 12.30pm. You will have the opportunity to drive multiple new model cars from the Enterprise fleet. This is a non CDL local driving position. The company is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
