Key Responsibilities
- Assist with all farm functions from preparing nutrient solutions and supplies to carrying out daily seeding, harvesting, and packaging tasks.
- Perform manual tasks such as seeding, sorting, and packaging produce with attention to quality and consistency.
- Operate automated systems including seeding machines, sorting machines, and packaging equipment as needed to support farm operations.

What You Need to Qualify

A diploma in Horticulture, Agricultural Technology, or a related field is preferred. Basic knowledge of plant science, pest management, or food safety is preferred but not required. Prior experience in vertical farming or agriculture is a plus. Experience with automated farming systems such as seeding, sorting, or packaging machinery is advantageous. Salary and Benefits
The hourly rate for this Indoor Vertical Farm Worker position ranges from 18 to 22 Canadian dollars per hour based on experience, which aligns with current market rates for agricultural and farm workers in Canada. You will work 44 hours per week on a rostered schedule of 5.5 days, including weekends and public holidays as needed. Overtime pay is provided for hours beyond 44 per week.
