Key Responsibilities
- Perform dimensional inspections of machined components using precision measuring instruments including micrometers, callipers, height gauges, and pin gauges
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to determine inspection criteria and tolerances
- Conduct visual inspections of parts to identify surface defects such as scratches, burrs, discoloration, or incomplete machining
- Record inspection results accurately on quality control forms or digital systems, marking accepted parts and flagging rejected items for rework or scrap
