Key Responsibilities
- Operate high speed packing machinery in a manufacturing environment, ensuring production targets are met consistently.
- Set up and improve production lines, making adjustments to optimise efficiency and product quality.
- Monitor the packing process, checking for defects, correct labelling, and proper sealing of products.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment, following GMP standards.
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 15 kilograms frequently throughout the shift.
- Follow all health and safety protocols, reporting any hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Work collaboratively with team members on the afternoon shift from 2pm to 10.30pm, communicating effectively to meet deadlines.
What You Need to Qualify
Previous experience in operating high speed machinery is desirable. Experience in pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, food and sport nutrition manufacturing, or similar industries is ideal. A good understanding of GMP environments is highly preferred. You must have a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to problem solve independently. Physical fitness to lift 15 kilograms on a reasonably frequent basis is required. You need to be flexible and adaptable to changing requirements and deadlines. Passion for improving the way you work is essential. You must be able to work both alone and as part of a team, and respect health and safety in the workplace. No formal degree is specified.
