Key Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth supply of facility services to the production section, including compressed air, cooling water, and electrical power
- Maintain and ensure the reliability of all production machines by conducting regular inspections and servicing
- Ensure that all equipment is in good operating condition after every inspection, service, and repair activity
- Follow the preventive maintenance schedule diligently, completing tasks on time to minimise unplanned downtime
- File and maintain accurate records of each machine’s maintenance life history for audit and planning purposes
- Verify the safety of all machines to protect both production output and product quality
- Perform calibration of machines and measuring instruments according to required standards
- Carry out other general maintenance works such as basic plumbing, lighting replacement, and building repairs
Qualifications
You need at least one year of relevant work experience in a maintenance, service technician, or similar hands on role. No formal degree is required, but a Nitec or Higher Nitec in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering is highly valued. Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential because you will coordinate with production staff and external vendors. You must be physically fit for standing, climbing ladders, and lifting up to fifteen kilograms. A basic understanding of electrical safety, mechanical systems, and preventive maintenance practices is expected. Willingness to work overtime on alternate Saturdays from 8 AM to 4.30 PM is required. Singaporean citizens, permanent residents, and valid work pass holders are welcome to apply. A Class 3 driving licence is a plus but not mandatory.
Benefits and Perks
This full time permanent position offers a monthly salary between SGD 2,200 and SGD 3,000, depending on your experience and technical skills. In addition to the basic salary, you receive a fixed allowance of SGD 60 per month, a transport allowance, and an attendance allowance. Overtime pay is available for work beyond the standard hours, including alternate Saturdays. You also receive the Annual Wage Supplement, commonly known as the thirteenth month bonus, plus a variable bonus based on company performance and your individual contribution. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5.15 PM, with overtime on alternate Saturdays from 8 AM to 4.30 PM. The company provides training on machine calibration and safety procedures.
