Responsibilities
- Hang and fix gib board to walls and ceilings.
- Tape, stop, and sand joints to a smooth finish.
- Apply skim coats and base coats for level four or five finishes.
- Patch holes, cracks, and water-damaged areas.
- Mask windows, doors, and floors before each coat.
- Set up trestles and small scaffolds safely on site.
- Clean tools, mix tubs, and work areas at end of day.
- Follow site safety rules and use the right PPE.
Qualifications and Requirements
- National Cert in Plastering or equal trade time.
- Three years or more of trade plastering experience.
- Site Safe passport before the first shift.
- Right to work in New Zealand or skilled visa.
- Comfort with ladders and small scaffolds.
- Good eye for level surfaces and sharp corners.
- Full driving licence is a plus for site travel.
